Apple released the new version of the iPod Nano during Apple’s “Rock and Roll” music event. One of the biggest revelation during that event ( aside from Steve Jobs return) is the unveiling of the new iPod Nano 5th Gen. Rumors had been circulating before Apple’s event that the new iPod Touch will be getting a makeover and one of which is a camera or camcorder. Apple surprised everyone by giving the camera shooting abilities to its baby brother the iPod Nano.
The new Nano shoots standard-definition, 640-by-480 VGA video in MPEG-4 format. One drawback is that the camers captures video only and not stills. Say what?! Yes, it shoots video only. Disappointing is the fact that you don’t get the full range of video-editing features that you do on the iPhone 3GS.
Its new features include:
- Video Camera
- FM Radio
- Built-in Speakers
- Pedometer
- Voice Recorder
There’s a more in-depth review of the phone from Gizmodo.
