Cherry Mobile Flare P1 & P1 Plus – Affordable Dual-Camera Smartphones
With the tough smartphone competition in the industry, where Huawei, iPhone and ASUS are innovating how the smartphone photography should be, Cherry Mobile, as we consider it the largest local smartphone brand in the Philippines hyped up the game and will soon introduce and launch their new flagship smartphone this summer as part of their Yearly festival.
There will be two variants of the smartphone. Since they both have the dual-camera setup, the P1 Plus will be the P1’s big brother since this is packed with improved specs and that includes the LTE Capability and rear-mounted Fingerprint Scanner. The P1 is said to be in the php3,999.00 price range while the P1 Plus is on a php5,999.
Cherry Mobile Flare P1 Plus Specs:

Take note also that from the P1s’ 13-mp + 2mp dual camera setup, tehe P1 Plus has 13mp + 5mp dual camera setup that creates a bokeh effect on the photos. The P1 Plus gets more RAM than that of the P1 and as mentioned above, the P1 Plus is LTE capable and is now compatible with the 700 MHz band and a full-HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The smartphone competition is now getting hotter! I can’t wait to try the new P1 Plus because why not? Let’s see if the camera quality would really compete or it’s just for the “dual-camera” term compliance.
