Whatever the design may be, LG’s focus still goes to aesthetics and usability. LG is also moving away from “modular designs” according to the report from the Electronic Times in Korea to make the smartphone waterproof.

For the design, LG G6 is using a metallic rim with a Gorilla Glass 5 to hold them together. Color variants of these smartphone includes platinum, black and white that made it look more elegant and premium especially if you put it facing down on a table.

LG G6 is now adopting the current smartphones’ security feature, the fingerprint scanner which is found at the rear part of it. This move would make LG’s credibility in the smartphone world with the same level with Samsung and Apple.

I’m not much of a LG fan (had bad experiences with this brand sauna LOL), but I’m glad they are now adapting the fingerprint scanner. The specs are great, and waterproof pa jud. I might consider in the future. 🙂

  2. LG G5 with that sleek leather back was actually my first choice before I got the phone that I’m using right now. I have always loved LG’s designs but ever since I’ve read in reviews about them overheating or that its battery life drains faster than Apple’s products. It gave me doubts in purchasing one.

  3. The G6 is shaping up to be one of the best smartphones to get this year! I just hope it doesn’t get overshadowed by the Galaxy S8. *foreshadowing* LOL

  4. Wow! I like the design of this new version of LG G Series. I have LG G4 before and its a pretty descent phone. Specs wise, LG G6 is a beast. 5GB RAM , octa core processor is a sweet giveaway plus they are now incorporating the fingerprint scanner. This phone will surely be one of the flagship phones that will get some noise on the market.

A big “YES!” for expandable storage! You really don’t see that a lot these days in flagship models. Hopefully, this does well and wouldn’t be plagued with LG’s usual issues with its models in both the physical device and their software as it’s looking pretty good.

  6. If I am to switch to Android this instant, THIS is the only phone that I want to have! A killer smartphone with an even killer specs, all wrapped up in a sleek and premium metallic body that puts all the other LG phones to shame.
