Mobile Photography – New Hobby for Aspiring Photographers

Mobile Photography has been one of the most interesting hobbies ever existed. From fashion, nature, portrait and landscape, and from a different dimension of photos, its main purpose is to showcase something and tell a story.

One of the biggest frustration of aspiring photographers is not being able to afford the luxury of owning a DSLR camera. Good news! You just landed on the perfect article to pursue photography.

In today’s generation where technology is getting more and more advanced, mobile  manufacturers opted to manufacture mobile phones with a DSLR-like capabilities. High-pixel cameras, built-in editors, filters and many other tweaks in getting a great photograph.

Mobile devices, specifically most smartphones that we own can be an alternative tool to capture wonderful moments.

We probably might not realize yet the capabilities of the smartphones we own. Here’s the basic requirements in order to capture wonderful photographs:

  1. Desire and passion to do photography
  2. Join mobile photography groups to improve your skills 

Desire and passion to do photography

Not everyone is gifted with photography skills. So whether you own a perfect smartphone with the best camera, if you don’t have the desire and passion to do photography, the photos will just look mainstream and ordinary and it doesn’t makes sense. On the contrary, whether you own a very basic smartphone with a very basic camera pixels, you can have wonderful photos. Let’s add out-of-the-box thoughts. So, are you in?

Join mobile photography groups to improve your skills

There’s a lot of facebook groups related to mobile photography. To site some, visit and join the following groups here in the Philippines:

  1. Sugbu Mobile Photography
  2. Mobile Photography Philippines

You may look at the photographs being featured every week. Interaction with fellow group members now made easy. Those groups also do scheduled photowalks open for everyone to improve their craft.
