Sony Xperia XZs – Beast and Glam in One

As a blogger and on-the-go person, I need to cope up with the fast-paced daily life and I need a smartphone that can cater my needs in blogging and vlogging. Good thing that the all-new Sony Xperia XZs is now available at Widget City.

This phone is packed with specs that is beyond what you can imagine. This new Sony flagship was announced last MWC 2017. Although this smartphone does not have that trending dual-camera setup, we all know how its camera works very legitimately since it has already been proven that Sony camera sensors are one of the best sensors in the market. The Sony Xperia XZ has a 5.2″ Full-HD display, Snapdragon 820 CPU, 19MP Motion Eye rear camera and 13MP 1/3.06 Exmor RS front camera, 4GB RAM, and the best feature I ever loved for a smartphone, its IP65/IP68-certified body that is considered a waterproof smartphone. This new flagship runs on Android Nougat. The price of this phone approximately ranges at aroud php31, 500.

What I am not sure about this smartphone is it’s battery capacity. I wonder how it performs compared to the competitors with a 3,000-5,000 MAh battery capacity and fast-charging features.

  1. I agree. Sony really is one of the best camera sensor producers.
Specs-wise, the phone is a sure competitor. Sony does not fail when
it comes to hardware specifications. I love how they retain their waterproofing feature.
What I just don’t like with this phone is that it’s way too big for my hands.
Not just with this phone but the current flagships of other brands too. T_T

  2. I have always been a Sony guy and I even used my old Z1 like a Go Pro before. If only I have money for phones, it would be tempted!

Wow, this looks promising. I was a Sony Xperia user before I switched to iPhone, and I never had any issues. I would consider getting this. 🙂

  4. Herbert Kikoy says:

Sony is one the few brands that really delivers what it offers. Im still considering this brand on my future smartphones

  5. Actually got the chance to try this phone last weekend in Sony’s SM Cebu branch. The first thing that caught my attention was how it kinda looked like the previous BlackBerry Leap phone. The camera looked sharp and the photos were really crisp. I went out of the store knowing that if I were to switch back to Android, the Sony XZ is def what I would want to have.

Will I buy this phone? No. A Pixel is a better option.
