With the Samsung S8, the most notable change we can all expect will be a bump in screen sizes. The new handsets will feature larger 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch displays, up from 5.1-inches and 5.7-inches on the old phones. A higher resolution panel is also tipped – specifically, 2,960 x 1,440 pixels compared to 2,560 x 1,440, creating an 18:9(-ish) aspect ratio.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be available with different processors in different markets. Some units will almost certainly feature Samsung’s custom-built Exynos 8895 chip, while others seem certain to use Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 835 processor – which Samsung manufactures. 1. I disagree with the notion of the S8 being an iPhone killer. Everyone kept saying that their phone is but it never happens. Maybe they should stop focusing on that and focus on making a great phone.

Samsung is good at making hypes. I hope they can keep up with it and not end up doing massive recalls 😛

  3. S8 looks really big! Almost 6 inches! You gotta have a big palm for that! haha! The specs looks awesome but I hope Samsung does not flop this time.

  4. Even with its killer specs, there’s something about Samsung and its phones that just dont get to me. Im even more thrilled for LG’s G6 compared to the S8.

  5. Kat says:

Ohhhhh, interesting! Nawng palang, kapaliton nako, hahahah jooooke! But I bet naa juy dili mu agree sa iyang pagka “iPhone killer” haha.

  6. GoodFoodTrip says:

I hope they don’t mess up with the Galaxy S8 this time though. They had a bit of difficulty trying to clear their name from the Galaxy S7 fiasco.

  7. Ever since I bought a Samsung device back in 2013, I kind of lost my urge to buy another device from them. I don’t know. I was not convinced that it was worth it. Hopefully, they can redeem themselves with Samsung Galaxy S8.

  8. That was a killer specs right there. Specs-wise, the S8 would surely be an iPhone Killer but there are few things in android that really needs fixing making the iPhone have the homerun. The bloated OS, etc will likely can cause these android phones degrade their performance over time.

  9. I hope nga dili siya mubuto. HAHAHAHHAHA

  10. Rome Nicolas says:

Well, I hope Samsung will do great this year. But, I’m already loving my Apple so far. Maybe, switching to a Pixel once stable na.
